Meet Chip & Anne

our story

Natives of Maine, Chip and Anne Andrews found themselves “empty-nesters” in what was a blink of an eye. While visiting their youngest in college, they came across a fun and interesting concept – mini donuts! Although Anne loved her position at York Hospital and Chip was a respected contractor and business owner for decades in Kittery, they thought it was time to shake it up a bit. The idea was well received by family, friends and their community so they took the plunge and launched their business in 2017! The Wicked Mini Donuts name came quickly and Anne started hitting the restaurant trade shows. A few months later, doors opened and the rest is delicious history!

In 2020 Chip & Anne outgrew their York location and  they needed a bigger space. This was a tough decision for them and while  they love  their York community, their reputation for mouth-watering mini donuts and delicious breakfast sandwiches was spreading throughout the Seacoast. Their menu was also expanding and they wanted a place where the community could sit and gather while engaging in conversation over  a coffee. They rebranded from Wicked Mini Donuts to Wicked Mini Café in order to showcase the wide range of options they offer. Anne came up with  the concept of the appetizing Macro Bowl which is a build your own bowl concept including a  base, dressing, and all the healthy fixings. Other menu favorites include burgers, sandwiches, and French fry bar! Grab a smoothie or an acai bowl and treat yourself to the delicious bake of the day.
